The First Truly Comfortable Conditioning Perch! Comfortable because it's not concrete, Sandy Perch is a manzanita core with brightly colored sand permanently bonded to it. Sandy Perch coatings are non-toxic and carry the approval of the FDA! The natural wood core insulates against cold and is safe wet or dry. And they are tough! I know this from my own experience with my birds but I also never get repeat orders. This is unfortunate for me but great for the customer. I'm sure most of you have heard of Sandy Perch by now and are aware of their attributes.

I usually clean my Sandy Perches by soaking them in a bleach solution and rinse heavily. They tend to dry quickly and the solution evaporates just as fast. However, I find the absolute best way to clean my Sandy Perches is to put them on the top rack of my dishwasher. Of course, I only do this when my wife is away.

I always have my Sandy Perches next to a feeding station for maximum trimming effectiveness.

Most birds I've had liked to have a swing and the blocks on the suspension chains are entertaining as well. Plastic rings can be added for extra variety.
